How long does it take for your ear piercing to heal?
I got my left ear pierced 12 days ago and the person who pierced it told me it should heal in 2 weeks(he is profesional body piercer) and he gave me this thing to clean my piercing once a day. I want to put on my new earing but i am afraid that something will go wrong. Should i wait a little longer or what should i do? Ty

About four to six weeks, maybe longer depending on the location. Cartilage heals more slowly and may be prone to more complications. At any rate, keeping it clean, giving the stud a turn or 2 per day and keeping dirty fingers OFF should speed healing and prevent infections, etc. Also never remove the original stud until it’s been at least a month or it will close up. Your piercer should have given you instructions, if he/she did, follow them and it will be fine. Good luck!
