So, I’m in the shed looking for the lucky drain plug from my old hotrod Pontiac, and back behind the Fang Face lunch box and under the sack of Swiss Army gravel, I found an un-burped Tupperware tub containing, a cracked Magic 8 ball, an asbestos tooth brush, assorted women’s underthings, and this, carved into a bar of Lifebouy:
Let’s head to the tire swing and unwind,
I certainly hope you won’t mind.
If a should perchance,
Smile as I glance,
At the view of your short Levi’s clad behind.
The river is up and it’s warm,
So maidens will come running and swarm.
Mean knights, don’t get excited
For you’re not invited.
Your eyes can’t handle the fair maidens’ form.
The oak is quite strong and so is the rope,
So if you are hoping what I often hope,
The swing is quite ready for me and for you
and can handle at once, a fair ‘nother two.
We’ll laugh and we’ll play and we’ll curse those who mope.
