Emporio Armani Watches: Designer Fashion Timepieces

Emporio Armani watches constitute the Italian luxury fashion house’s answer to market trends concerning designer accessories. The Emporio Armani line is the second most expensive in all of their business empire, but it is also meant to have a broad base of appeal, being marketed specifically to modern urban youth. And it is to this target demographic that Emporio Armani watches are meant to suggest luxury and wealth, with designs that run the gamut from classically conservative to modern, fun, and quirky. Despite being synonymous with high-end fashion, the Emporio Armani brand of Giorgio Armani S.p.A. is the company’s largest, with its goods sold online, in namesake boutiques, and at upscale department stores worldwide.

Emporio Armani watches are no exception, and can be found in a surprisingly great number of places despite the image of exclusivity that company marketing would promote. Indeed, their very price-points, while not quite inexpensive, are nowhere near what luxury fashion accessories would normally command, and reflect the company’s strategy of penetrating and capturing the mass market by capitalizing on its established reputation in the high-end market.

Likely reflective of such plans, then, are its many models of middle-market watches that can suit most tastes and occasions. As might be expected of the classical, and therefore somewhat conservative, aesthetic they have chosen, Emporio Armani watches for women tend to be a little more casual and bolder in design than those for men (though it’s interesting to note that each category maintains uniformly large watch face sizes). For example, the AR5628 ladies’ watch might almost be “loud” to some when compared against their Meccanico models for men, which though being as brash as it gets are still rather understated compositions. Inside the brushed stainless steel casings, however, it is the one same story: precision-engineered movements, water resistance between thirty and fifty meters, and sensitive pushpieces complemented on the outside with rugged strap pins and solid clasps and buckles. Emporio Armani watches are sturdy reliable machines, despite the designer status. They are backed by an industry-standard two-year warranty, detailed in its own handsome keepsake booklet, separate from the user’s manual.

Emporio Armani watches are here to stay (unlike, possibly, the company’s ventures in mobile phones and giant LCD televisions). They complement the Armani ethos, and do not appear to be just another consumer market for a multi-billion-dollar company to muscle its way into. These fine timepieces serve competently as fashionable accessories for those enamored of the Armani vision of a luxurious lifestyle.

What is the difference between Georgio Armani and Emporio Armani?

Emporio Armani is a more youthful inspired Armani Line that markets for younger adults. The line is the third-least expensive Armani Brand and can be bought at its 13 American boutiques and over 140 worldwide boutiques, making it the largest distributed Armani brand. Products encompassed by this brand include ready-to-wear clothes, sunglasses, perfume, accessories and watches. The line is considered a “bridge line” as it features higher-end products than Armani Exchange or Armani Jeans but is not as expensive as the exclusive Armani Collezioni or Giorgio Armani (‘black label’) lines. Emporio Armani is sold in freestanding Emporio Armani boutiques, in high-end department stores, and through their online store.

The Armani signature label, Giorgio Armani, is the most expensive Armani label and is available in its 75 worldwide boutiques. Armani also invests in the fine dining industry. Throughout the world, he has 14 Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans cafes. There is also an Armani Bar in Hong Kong and his two new restaurants, NoBu & Prive, are found worldwide. He also has a bookshop (Armani Libri) and a florist (Armani Fiori) under the Armani name and a confectionery company known as Armani Dolci. These smaller brands are mostly sold within larger Armani shops, like the Milan flagship, 31 via Manzoni, and at the Armani/Chater House at 11 Chater Road, Central, Hong Kong.
