Uniuqe Party Invitations To Celebrate Dad

When planning a party to honor and celebrate dear ol’ Dad, one should not forget to send some tasteful, eye-catching Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations.

The style and character of Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations will depend largely on the guest of honor. Is the dad being honored young or young at heart and endlessly fun loving? Then choose invites bearing bright colors like red, gold and bright blue, and images of classic ‘Dad-related’ symbols like golf clubs, remote controls, barbecue grills, and baseballs. Or select a humorous party invitation, perhaps one emblazoned with the image of a classic TV father like Ward Cleaver or Ozzie Nelson. The typeface on these images should be big and bold, the messages light and humorous.

Is Dad an old softie; well if he is then have Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations that are very personal or sentimental. Consider Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations that use family photos of Dad as the focal point. Or he/she might send an invite emblazoned with a photo or a Norman Rockwell-style painting of a father and child engaged in a bonding activity, like fishing or golfing. The wording on this invitation should be warm and—at the great risk of sounding redundant—inviting, and composed in soft lettering or flowing script. Colors should be soft and muted but still masculine, with hues like ivory and mint green predominating.

Keep Dad’s personality in mind and match the Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations to it. The host could choose party invitations with bold lettering or flowing script, conveying a message of invitation that is subtle and subdued. The colors emblazoned on this invite should be muted and strong (think silver, forest green, ivory, etc.); the images presented, if any, could be artistic and picturesque. The front of the invitation could depict a quiet country scene, or a patriotic symbol such as an oversized, gold cast American eagle.

When there are several Dad’s being honored, Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations can be less about an individual Dad and more about Dads in general. Bearing basic, reliable colors like white, green and gold, these invites could convey a general message on the front, like “Happy Father’s Day” or “Let’s Celebrate the Day for Dads.”

Indeed, Father’s Day is all about dads; and Fathers Day Theme Party Invitations can help any party host pay tribute to the special ‘pa’ in their lives.

Gold black Onyx signet ring with a single gold line through the onyx for my dad?

A few years back my dads signet ring was stolen, it was really special to him as his dad bought him it and his dad is now dead. I’m looking to replace the ring however the closest I can find has 2 gold lines through the onyx as shown on this website:

Does anyone know where I can buy one? Money is no object and I am in the UK so websites will be great.

For something this special, your best bet would be to have one custom made. Based on this picture, you should be able to get quotes from a few local jewelers in your area. Even if you buy this ring, a jeweler should easily be able to either fix the stone for you or replace it with a single-ribbon one; and they might even accept the double-ribbon one as partial payment.
(Or, you could contact the maker of this ring and ask how much it would be to make one with one ribbon only.)
