Gold Man

Rose gold wedding ring suitable for a man?
I’ve been going around looking at wedding rings with my fiance. Her engagement ring is a 1ct solitaire on a platinum band and we were expecting to get simple platinum wedding rings. However we also quite liked the look of a simple rose gold ring at Van Cleef & Arpels. Is it a little unusual for a man to wear rose gold, and will it be too odd that it doesn’t match her engagement ring?
Its your personal preference to what type of metal that you choose for your wedding band, there are many out there but If you prefer rose gold then go for it, as long as you like the ring that is the important thing, you just need to take into consideration that you will be wearing this ring for the rest of your life so it must be one your happy with..
Another thing I would say that you may want to take into consideration is that because of its metal properties rose gold is a softer metal than that of platinum which is far stronger and it is also resistant to tarnishing so you wont find yourself having to polish a platinum band as much as you will the rose gold. You may also want to consider this fact when deciding upon which band to put next to your fiancées platinum engagement ring. Because the platinum is a far stronger it is likely to rub and possibly misshape the rose gold over time because it is a softer metal.
I hope that this helps
