Is fashion promoting self-injury?
Hi. I used to self-injure but now have since stopped for over a month now. It was hard but I am still moving alone pain free. 
Anyway, something really bothers me and I’m wondering if anyone else feels the same way, but do you think that fashion is promoting self-injury? Many so called “alternative” stores like Spencer’s and Hot Topic would sell jewelries, for example, with razor blades on them.

Does anyone think we should, I don’t know, like BAN these sorts to jewelries? I can’t imagine having very young children seeing them and think, “Hey, it must be cool to cut myself!” 
People need to get some self esteem. No matter what age I was, I would never think cutting myself is cool. That is just absurd.
Its like the saying your parents used to say – If everyone jumped off of a bridge, would you too? Obviously some people would.
