Inlay Size

What is the value of an early american sample cupboard (1800′s +/-)?
I have a sample size cupboard that was made so customers could see what they could custom order. The cabinet is hard wood, has wood inlay, bone decoration, handmade… about 36″ tall, 43″ wide, and 12″ deep. 6 drawers, glass arched wooden doors, 4 cubby holes, in good condition. I purchased this piece on the north shore in Chicago. Was told it was late 1700′s or very early 1800′s. Good condition.
Where can I get this cabinet valued? I’m losing interest in the piece and thinking about selling it – but I don’t know where to go. I really don’t want to go the e-bay route.
Any help will really help.
Thank you.
