Jewellery Display Stands

Best color of display cloth for Handmade Glass Beaded jewelry ?
I will be putting up my first jewelry display stand of handmade glass beaded jewelry next month and i’m trying to get ideas for my display.
I have had the suggestion of for black velvet or black cloth to lay out on the table , but i can’t help but think it might detract , and even dull the color of transparent colored beads. I was thinking on more of a light shade such as lavender or something. Does anyone have any ideas. please let me know. Especially if you have set up a stand similar, what worked for you . Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions.
Black is usually a really great backdrop for jewelry, however you do have to keep in mind that it will show EVERY speck of dust or lint. You might want to try an ivory or other neutral shade that adds a little more color than just white.
I just had an idea as I was typing this. Kind of along the same lines as the person that suggested the squares of white fabric. What if you covered the tables in a neutral cloth, all the way to the floor so that you can hide things underneath the table, and used squares of several different colors to highlight different groupings of jewelry. If you have certain “themes” of colors, take the groups to the fabric store and find a solid color that would compliment each grouping. Then, display like pieces together on your tables, with each color fabric underneath. And you don’t have to go nuts and get like 10 different colors, but find 3 or 4 and that way your booth will be interesting and pleasing to the eye as well.
