Jewellery Ideas For Kids

On a missions trip to build a school, what are some ideas of gifts to give the kids?
Last time I went, there were 145 kids from K-6th grade. We brought a bunch of old jewelry and candy but it was hard to think of something small to give the boys. (they ended up liking the bracelets but I’d like to do better than that the next time). We also handed out pictures of ourselves to remind them to pray for us. They really liked that. I need some fresh ideas! We did take school supplies, lots of erasers, pencils and games. . . what else?
This is in Ghana, Africa where they live in mud huts. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
Washing rags. Most families in Africa use those to wash themselves, about 30 x 30 cm, male or female. When you are there arrange for a party where you can buy a sheep (don’t worry there will be some who will slaughter it) and vegetables, making sure that at least people will have a healthy meal, even if it is just this once in many months. African people love to come together and celebrate, you will never regret this.
Lots of blessings to you, family and friends. You are a real angel in embodiment.
