Mother’s Day Celebration
Mother’s Day has become an important event on the global calendar and it is celebrated in all corners of the world. The main Mother’s Day celebration takes place in the month of May though some places celebrate it in March also. This celebration takes place in order to pay respect to Motherhood. Though, people have been paying respect to motherhood since ancient times by worshipping the mother goddesses. However, our real mothers, ones who have given us birth only got their due in 1914 after a campaign by Anna Jarvis. The Mother’s Day celebration also sprung from this Mother’s Day Celebration.
Mother’s Day is celebrated mostly, by giving of Mother’s Day cards to individual’s mothers. Some People have grand Mother’s Day Party ideas; they take their mothers out for a grand five star experience and also gift them diamond rings or necklace. The best Mother’s Day Gifts are the simplest of gifts and it could be simple Mother’s Day cards also. One has to keep in mind the fact that; this celebration has got nothing to do with pomp and show. It should simply reflect a child’s love for his mother and also the importance of motherhood should be made more public.
The second Sunday in May has an importance which no other day in the world could possibly have and it has to be seen as the day which makes this world go around and a day of life and birth. There are many people who are still not aware of these celebrations and they generally come from uneducated backgrounds and underdeveloped countries. Therefore, Mother’s Day Celebration shouldn’t only be about Parting and enjoying one self but also a day when people should spread awareness about the indispensable role of women in our society and the world on a whole.
