It does sound a bit generic, I’ll grant you that. However there are deeper things I touch upon. The nature of human existence, the idea of God amomg other things. Its not all just a hero journey.
Also I have no draft at the moment. No, I’m still planning… I want to get it published so I won’t be handing out drafts unfortunatley.
I would not read your book. Barrow is a complete Mary Sue. A demi-angel? Fate of the three worlds? As my girlfriends say, ‘puh-leeze’.
Why does Barrow HAVE to travel to distant lands or anywhere else? And where did the demon gods come in? Reflections on the nature? Yich, sounds like a reason to stop in a middle of a story and info-dump.
Maybe you have something here, but tread lightly with Barrow. One bad character can spoil an entire book.
