Sterling Silver Anklets Necklaces

Everyone wants to give himself or herself a very good impression. Perhaps this made people from anywhere in the world especially women wear accessories just to look beautiful and fashionable. They buy different types of jewelry such as earrings, bracelets, bangle, tiara and pendants and wear them during special occasions and events to get some attention and to have that powerful and shimmering look. But wait, there’s a piece of jewelry that is not easily noticed. Can it be the anklet?
An ankle bracelet or anklet embellishes one’s ankle and is worn around the ankle. This is already practiced for centuries mostly by women in Egypt and Arabia. It is usually made from precious metals such as silver, bronze and gold but for those who do not have the means to have silver or gold anklets, they resort to anklets that are made of cheaper materials like beads, plastic, nylon or shells. Anklets made of these materials are mostly seen in Asian countries. Aside from being a jewelry, an anklet serves as a souvenir for some places.
Wearing gold anklets to match your classy and luxurious style of living could capture someone else’s eyes though it’s right below your knees.  Gold anklets are known to be durable and of high quality, expensive but worth the price. Many say that gold anklets are much better to use and is just appropriate for people who are allergic to substances present in some other anklets.

How can I clean costume jewelry from claires/icings? 10 easy points!!?
I have some jewelry from places like Claires/Icing that have turned blackish color, they dont have the silver shine they used to.
They obviously aren’t sterling silver…
Is there any way to clean them off?
Can I use silver jewelry cleaner or will that ruin them even more?
Any home remedies or cleaners? (windex, nail polish remover, alchohol, i dont know, anything???)
(Please dont tell me to get new ones and throw the old out because they don’t have the same ones anymore and I have a whole bunch of necklaces, bracelets, earings and anklets)
Thanks in advance and I’ll try all your advice out to see which works best
My best advice would be to wash them with dish soap and hot water, and a toothbrush to get rid of any skin oils that might be the cause of the dullness. Once the surface dirt is gone, try using a small amount of Tarnex or another kind of liquid metal cleaner. This kind of method won’t scratch the finish like using a silver polish would. Having said all that, I think that the reason the finish is turning is because it’s being removed and you’re down to the bare metal.
Another bit of advice I can offer is (I know you don’t want to hear this, but seriously) … save your cash and start buying better quality things that are made from sterling silver. I love it when I can walk into Claire’s and leave with piles of stuff for $20, but what good is it when in a few months, this happens and then you can’t wear it anymore? Macy’s has 18 hour sales all the time, and they usually have silver stuff by the handful at huge discounts. That way, you won’t hafta worry about how to clean it, or if it will be damaged by anything. Tarnex, and a little silver polish for the shine, and viola ! you’re done.
For my money, I’d rather have one killer knockout piece that cost’s $25 and will last forever, than a handful of stuff that’ll be in the trash in a year’s time.
Give it some thought.
Best of luck!!
