.J. Carouth

I purchased this heart rate monitor to offer more metric points than my Sigma PC15 offered. Most importantly this monitor is capable of tracking the average heart rate over a given interval. I use it to monitor my speed work and interval training and to track my recovery times to give me a heads up of any potential over training.

Nike triax fury 50 regular watch or timex ironman icontrol watch?

I am trying to decide wich one to ask for for christmas. I like nike’s target time feature but i also like the how you control the ipod from the icontrol. I asked for a nike+ kit also, so i would only be able to use the icontrol or the nike+ at once if i got that. I run xc, but that is over so now i am running the mile for my hs track team. I am a freshman in high school and my pr for the 5k is 20:05 and the mile is 5:43.3. I am looking to break 5:20 by the end of the school year.

Which one should i get and why?

Oooouuuuuuu…. that’s a hard choice try flipping a coin they are both really good watches but you can only have one. You can also try going into the deep features on the watches to see whichone is worth getting more. Hope you don’t stress over this too much.

P.S. I feel so left out i run a 6:24 mile but run a 19:33 5k im a better long distance runner.
